Storefront Specialist

Job Summary:
As a Storefront Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer service and driving sales growth. You will be responsible for assisting customers, managing inventory, handling shipping and receiving tasks, and supporting various store operations. This is a dynamic position that requires excellent communication skills, product knowledge, and a proactive approach to customer engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Sales and Customer Service:
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Provide product recommendations, demonstrations, and answer inquiries.
- Actively engage with customers to understand their needs and offer appropriate solutions.
- Operate the cash register, process payments, and handle returns/exchanges.
- Shipping and Receiving:
- Process customer orders and prepare them for shipping.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely delivery of packages.
- Receive incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and record inventory accordingly.
- Store Operations Support:
- Assist in maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment.
- Participate in regular team meetings and training sessions.
- Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the store manager.
- Safely operate company vehicles for tasks such as product deliveries and errands (if applicable).
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in music or related fields preferred.
- Valid driver’s license, and clean driving record.
- Proven experience in retail sales or customer service, preferably in a music-related environment.
- Strong knowledge and passion for musical instruments and related accessories.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively under pressure.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in using computer-based sales and inventory management systems.
- Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays as required.
